Manuscript Submission to the ISFOE10

All IS-FOE10 participants can submit their work that has been presented in the IS-FOE10 to be considered for publication in a Special Issue of the European Physical Journal - Applied Physics. Only the specific number of manuscripts that will pass the peer-review process that will be conducted by the EPJ-AP will be published.

The deadline for the manuscript submission is September 3rd 2010. Please send your manuscript to alask@physics.auth.gr
After the collection of the manuscripts, these will be send by us to the European Physical Journal - Applied Physics. After that, the editors, will contact directly all authors for the possible revisions from the review process and the final decision on their mnanuscripts.

Last Minute Abstract Submission to IS-FOE10


You can submit your Last Minute Abstract to be presented ONLY as a Poster to the ISFOE10.
The submitted abstracts will be included ONLY in the Abstract Book and will not be considered for publication as a peer-reviewed paper.

Young Researcher Award

IS-FOE will give the opportunity to 2 Graduate Students to be awarded for the Best Presentation (Oral or Poster).

Eligibility Criteria for the IS-FOE Young Researcher Award:
1. The applicant must be registered as a graduate student with a PhD thesis research program that is closely related to the scope of one of sessions held during the IS-FOE
2. The applicant must be one of the co-authors of a submitted abstract and must be entrusted with the (oral or poster) presentation.

AWARD BENEFITS: Each Award includes a waiver of the IS-FOE10 registration fees.

About Presentations


The IS-FOE Program will include oral presentations (invited/contributing) and poster presentations. Time allocation for the invited lectures is 25-30 minutes, and that for contribution talks is ~20 minutes (including discussion).

The Posters should be in a PORTRAIT format, and the dimensions should not exceed: 120cm (height) x 80 cm (width)
