Papers & Abstracts

The Deadline for Abstract Submission has been closed (the deadline was until May 5th, 2008). However, you can apply for a Last Minute Poster!! (See more details in the following).

The IS-FOE Program will include oral presentations (invited/contributing) and poster presentations. Time allocation for the invited lectures is 25-30 minutes, and that for contribution talks is ~20 minutes (including discussion).

For Poster presentation, the dimensions should not exceed:
120cm (height) x 80 cm (width)

Selected papers will be published after peer-review in a Special Issue dedicated in Flexible Organic Electronics in European Physical Journal - Applied Physics.

Each paper will have the same length, which is 4 printed pages based on the styles that are included in the Authors Guide.
The DEADLINE for manuscript submission to IS-FOE Organizing Committee is 25 July 2008.
All manuscripts must be sent by this date with e-mail to alask@physics.auth.gr

Young Researcher Award

IS-FOE will give the opportunity to 2 Graduate Students to be awarded for the Best Presentation (Oral or Poster).

To be eligible for the IS-FOE Young Researcher Award, the applicant must be:
- registered as a graduate student with a PhD thesis research program closely related to the scope of one of sessions held during the IS-FOE
- one of the co-authors of a submitted abstract and must be entrusted with the (oral or poster) presentation.

AWARD BENEFITS: Each award will be comprised by the waiver of the IS-FOE registration fees and the accommodation expenses.

3. Student Certificate

DEADLINE: All application forms (Application form + Letter of Support + Student Certificate) must be sent by June 20, 2008 by e-mail to alask@physics.auth.gr

 

Last Minute Poster

Due to the continuing Abstract submission, and in order to include the latest developments in the field, the option for Last Minute Poster is offered.

The Deadline for the last minute poster submission is June 20 2008.

Please have in mind that the submitted abstracts will be included in the IS-FOE Abstract Book and they will be presented at the IS-FOE as posters.
