Papers & Abstracts
Publication of selected manuscripts from IS-FOE09
All IS-FOE09 participants can submit their work that has been presented in the IS-FOE09 to be considered for publication in a Special Issue of the European Physical Journal - Applied Physics.
Only the specific number of manuscripts that will pass the peer-review process that will be conducted by the EPJ-AP will be published.
IMPORTANT: Submit your manuscript by e-mail ONLY to alask@physics.auth.gr
The deadline for the submission of the manuscripts is August 21.

Each paper will have the same length, which is around 4 printed pages based on the styles that are included in the Authors Guide.
The published papers of the 1st International Symposium on Flexible Organic Electronics (IS-FOE) that took place at 9-11 July 2008, Halkidiki, Greece have been published in a Special Issue of the European Physical Journal - Applied Physics, Volume 46, Number 1, April 2009

IS-FOE09 Award Ceremony
The IS-FOE09 Award Ceremony took place at Friday 10 July. The IS-FOE09 Awards were given to:
Best Oral Presentation: Roderick Jackson, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, USA
Best Poster Presentation: Priscilla G. Taylor, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Cornell University Ithaca, NY, USA

Last Minute Poster Abstracts has closed!!
You can submit your Last Minute Abstract with ONLY the option for Poster.
The submitted abstracts will be presented as posters and will be included ONLY in the Abstract Book.

The Deadline for the last minute poster submission is June 22 2009.
The submitted Last Minute Poster Abstracts will be included in the IS-FOE09 Abstract Book and they will be presented at the IS-FOE as posters.
Young Researcher Award has closed!!
IS-FOE will give the opportunity to 2 Graduate Students to be awarded for the Best Presentation (Oral or Poster).
Eligibility Criteria for the IS-FOE Young Researcher Award:
1. The applicant must be registered as a graduate student with a PhD thesis research program that is closely related to the scope of one of sessions held during the IS-FOE
2. The applicant must be one of the co-authors of a submitted abstract and must be entrusted with the (oral or poster) presentation.
AWARD BENEFITS: Each award will be comprised by the waiver of the IS-FOE registration fees and the accommodation expenses.
APPLICATION MATERIALS:

2. Letter of Support by the supervisor
3. Student Certificate

All application forms (Application form + Letter of Support + Student Certificate) must be sent by June 22, 2009 by e-mail to alask@physics.auth.gr
About Presentations
The IS-FOE Program will include oral presentations (invited/contributing) and poster presentations.
Time allocation for the invited lectures is 25-30 minutes, and that for contribution talks is ~20 minutes (including discussion).
The Posters should be in a PORTRAIT format, and the dimensions should not exceed: 120cm (height) x 80 cm (width)
